This newsletter is a bit longer than most. We're describing our clubs, at length, then telling you about this month's clubs more specifically. Hang in there. On March 1, join Sharon Smith from French Fantasy Designs for a punchneedle and/or wool applique class. The punchneedle class will be in the morning from 10-12:30. Wool applique will be from 1:30-4:00. The cost is $35 plus materials of your choice. Sign up now as this one will fill quickly!

We've enjoyed autumn retreats with A Stitch in Time. Now, join us for a spring retreat with them on March 28-30 at Stoney Creek in Onalaska. (And yes, we will have a room with lots of wonderful natural light.) Enjoy the jammie jaunts, doorprizes and great treats and classes. (Both stores will collaborate on one great project for the classes.) But, most of all, enjoy the camaraderie and the time to hunker down and complete projects. The price is only $79 per person. We've put our little heads together and come up with some terrific automatic programs/clubs for you to join. Each varies a bit, so be sure to read the particulars. Here goes....

KIT-OF-THE-MONTH
This kit corresponds to the "Spotlight Designer of the Month," so the designer changes each month. You can purchase this if you like the design, but are not committed to it each month. You can buy the kit only or the frame only, or the kit and the frame. Just let us know each month if you'd like one.

|
LIVING WITH CHARM CLUB
Lizzie*Kate's 2008 Flip-Its are called "Living with Charm." They are darling! This club will be an every-other-month one since each chart has two flip-its. They will be stitched as a banner on 25c Cream Lugana and finished on a bellpull. The first month, you'll receive the first chart, fabric and bellpull. If you need to purchase the threadpack, you can do that, too.

BAUBLES
SamSarah's Baubles series is too cute to pass up. Stitch these on 28c Natural Tattersal. Again, it wil be an every-other-month auto becuase of the finishing technique we chosen. We're finishing it as a two-sided, pre-made pillow, so you can have two months in one pillow. We'll make the prefinished pillow, offer the pillow form, and you'll receive the chart and buttons. All you have to do is stitch the design and stuff the pillow with the premade insert. Again, thread packs will be available.

FABRIC OF THE MONTH
You'll sign up for this club and you'll automatically receive your fabric each month. The fabric is from Picture This Plus and is lusciously hand-dyed. If you sign up and continue through the year, December's fabric is free. We'll offer the fabric in 16c aida, 28c Cashel, and 32c Belfast. You can choose a 1/8 yard (13x18) cut, or a 1/4 yard (18x26) cut.
The aida costs are: $8.75 for 1/8y and $17.50 for 1/4y.
The linen costs are: $12.50 for 1/8y and $25.00 for 1/4y.
You can, of course, get 1/2 yard and full yard cuts, too. Contact us for pricing.

VICTORIA'S SAMPLER ALPHABET SERIES
We know we're behind on this one, bet we had so much interest during the VS trunk show that we're offering it as an automatic program. We'll start at the very beginning (a very good place to start), with "A." Every other month, you'll get the next letter. Sign up for the chart only, chart and fabric, or chart and fabric and accessories.

LOOSE FEATHERS
This auto, by Blackbird Designs, has been wonderfully popular. It, too, is bi-monthly. Again, you can sign up for chart only, chart and fabric, or chart and fabric and floss.

JUST ANOTHER BUTTON COMPANY'S TEACUP SERIES
The chart is free and adapted for cross stitch, wool applique, and punchneedle. Let us know which one(s) you'd like, and we'll send the kit to you.

FRENCH FANTASY FLORAL PUNCHNEEDLE
We LOVE French Fantasy's floral designs and know that you will, too. Beginning in February, and continuing every other month, receive one of these gorgeous designs. We'll find the background fabric and adhere the design to it. If you'd like the floss kit, we can send that also.

CHARM-OF-THE-MONTH
It's not too late to join our Charland Designs Charm of the Month club. The charms run $8 per month. You can order a charm bracelet for $25 to show off your beatuiful stitched-themed charms. By joining the club, you'll receive a length of banding so you can stitch the corresponding charm's stitch each month.At the end of the 12 months, receive a charm with your initial free! (Sorry if this is confusing. It's difficult to describe both stitching related charms and stitches used on the banding.)

PINE MOUNTAIN'S TIE-TOP PILLOW
We can't get enough of these great pillows! Each month, you'll do a little stitching, and get a great pillow for your home. You'll only need one pillow form, as you'll be able to transfer it from pillow to pillow each month.

CANDLE MAT CLUB
On the first Friday each month, from 5:30-7:30, join us and make these darling wool applique candle mats from Bare Roots. If you can't join us, you can still sign up for the club and receive a monthly kit. The price is only $18.95 per month.
