30 wonderfully wicked models from Primitive Needle are showcased in the store all month. Primitive Needle is known for Halloween designs, but she has other lovelies, too. Plan ahead for this year's Halloween. These designs are great!

Victoria's Sampler Trunk Show

A couple of years ago, we showcased Victoria's Sampler designs. Her designs were so well received that we're doing it again. Enjoy new Victoria's Sampler pieces from March 5 through March 30. Accessories and thread packs will be here, too. These are some of the prettiest designs in the needleowrk industry today, so don't miss them!

There's lots and lots of new stuff in the store now. Since February was a market month, new stuff is still arriving every day. We hope you'll be tempted by these goodies.

Blackbird Designs has six new designs. Each really is lovelier than the next. Their newest series of small stockings is too cute to resist. If you'd like to be put on an automatic for this series, let us know. The first three are here.

Prairie Schooler's four new designs are darling. We especially like "April," since it's full of spring colors and spring motifs. It actually makes you happy to look at it. The others are equally nice, but this one is so timely.

La-D-Da has two new designs. "A Falling Star" and "A Penny Saved" are delightful samplers with such catchy sayings. "A Falling Star" is the perfect sampler to stitch on those rainy spring days ahead.

Jeanette Douglas has outdone herself this time. "Pineapple Biscornu" is soooo beautiful. For you pineapple lovers out there, (Colette) this is a must have.

There are a few new series to tell you about. Waxing Moon has a darling monthly series started. January and February are in the store. Amy Bruecken has some sassy new sayings, including "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere." JBW's newest sampler series includes our favorite, "The Shoe Shopper." All are great, and all can be seen on our "What's New?" page.
Also in this month are The Drawn Thread's newbies....all as beautiful as you would expect from The Drawn Thread. And we especially love Primitive Traditions newest tool keeper designs. Mill Hill has come out with some wonderful wildlife designs for kids. They are done on colorful aida, and would make the perfect starter kit for children.

If you've always wanted to make life-like flowers with thread, this is your class. We'll make raised pansies using wire and silk, and mount them on hand-turned wooden pin cushions. The first night we'll stitch. The second night we'll do the finishing.

Benefit For Our Friend, Diane

Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 4 from 4:00-10:00pm. A benefit for our friend, Diane Thorsen, will be held at the La Crescent American Legion. If you'd like tickets, we have them. For only $10 each, you get food, beverages, silent auction and music by Muddy Flats and the Hepcats. Your ticket enters your name into a drawing for a shotgun, two night stay at the Thornton House is Lansing, an acoustic guitar or a two piece luggage set. We're hoping for a huge success at the benefit. You're all welcome to atttend and show Diane how much you love her. If you need more information, just call us.
