November 2007

"Let us be thankful," is our November motto. Thanksgiving, falling between Halloween and Christmas, is considered the "forgotten" holiday. Sarah and I try not to forget each day to be thankful for you, our customers and friends. We're thankful that others share our passions for great framing and/or the needlearts. It allows us to come to a job we love each day, and share that love with each of you.

So, happy Thanksgiving everyone. We hope that you, too, have had a year for which to be thankful and are able to share this holiday with those you love.

Remember, though, that while the next two months can get crazy with preparations, it's a good idea to slow down once in a while and treat yourself to the things you love....like stitching!

We've got lots in store to help you do just that. We look forward to seeing you in the months ahead. And, thanks again for your support and friendship.

Stitch for Flood Relief

The August floods affected so many in our area. We're trying to raise money for those affected and hope you join us in our efforts.

The members of the Crosse Stitchery Cafe stitched ornaments for flood relief. Each member stitched one or two ornaments that are for sale in the store. All proceeds go to the American Red Cross for flood relief.

If you'd like to purchase an ornament, they're only $15. If you'd like to make ornaments for us to sell, that would be great, too.

We hope to make a large donation in the names of our stitchers. Thank you.
